Summary, UAC, and ISO (Application Information)

The Summary, UAC, and ISO page lets you customize the properties that are written to your setup database and executable files, and are visible in Windows Explorer tool tips and property pages. This page also lets you manually set the requested UAC elevation level. You may also set the ISO/IEC 19770-2:2009 software identification (SWID) tag for your application here.

Database Summary Information

Type in a field to update the value of that field as you wish for it to appear in Windows Explorer tool tips and property pages.

User Account Control

Select your desired UAC elevation level using this combo-box. The default setting is highestAvailable. This setting is not recorded in the MSI file and has effect only on Vista or newer operating systems when UAC is enabled.

You may also want to see the Run Program As command for the related UAC de-elevation option and the Application Requirements design view for the related UAC elevation detection option.

ISO/IEC 19770-2:2009 SWID

Inverse Domain Name

Type the Internet domain name of your organization in inverse form. For example, the inverse form of installaware.com is com.installaware.

Leave this field empty to not set the ISO/IEC 19770-2:2009 software identification (SWID) tag for your application.

First Full Month of Ownership

Choose the first full month your organization owned your Internet domain name for the first time.

Suffix

Optionally provide the name of your department or organization branch. Ensure you use only characters that would be valid for use as file names.

Entitlement

Check this box to indicate that the rights to use your application must be verified during software compliance.
