Generate System ID

This command combines selected fields into an opaque hash value, which may then be used to uniquely identify the target system.

Variable

Enter the name of the variable to store the hash value.

Motherboard

Check this box to include the serial, manufacturer, product name, and model of the motherboard in the hash.

Processor

Check this box to include the description, manufacturer, name, common ID, and unique ID of the processor in the hash.

BIOS

Check this box to include the version, build number, description, manufacturer, name, serial number, and version of the BIOS in the hash.

Operating System

Check this box to include the build number, build type, manufacturer, name, serial number, and version of the operating system in the hash.

Warning

• Not all of the fields may be available (or unique) on all end-user systems. As you pick more of the fields available with this command, your hash becomes progressively more unique.
