Set Environment

This command sets the value of an environment variable.

Environment Variable Name

The name of the environment variable to set. With the Windows Installer engine, no variables may be used here. With the Native Engine, variables may be used.

Environment Variable Value

The value to set the indicated environment variable to.

Operation

Choose the type of operation to perform from the drop-down menu.

Placement

Choose how to set the value of the variable from the drop-down menu.

Remove Variable/Value During Uninstall

Enable this option to undo this command during an uninstallation.

Set Variable for All Users

Check this box to define a system environment variable. Uncheck this box to define a user environment variable.
