New Windows Store Project

This template allows you to bridge your Desktop installation to the Windows Store.

The fields below are populated automatically where possible based on the existing information in your Project Options dialog for your active setup project.

Update any fields as necessary to finish creating your new Windows Store project.

Download URL

Enter the download URL of your setup program here, exactly as you uploaded it to your web server.

Website

Enter the URL of a web page to be shown while your setup is being downloaded in this field.

Package/Identity/Name

Enter the Package/Identity/Name created for you, after you have reserved your application name at the Windows Store.

Please be aware that this is not identical to the value you typed in while reserving your application name (even when your name has been granted as requested). At the time of this writing, you may find the exact value to be entered in this field using the steps below:

1. Log in to your Windows Dev Center Dashboard. At the time of this writing, the login URL is https://dev.windows.com/en-us/dashboard/.
2. On the left Your apps column, click the name you reserved for your application.
3. On the left column now bearing your reserved application name, expand App Management, and click App identity.
4. Copy the exact value in the App identity table for the row titled Package/Identity/Name.
