Framework 4.0 Install

Anyone at InstallAware put together the script to install the new framework 4.0 yet?

I would like to get this in my product in the next two days.

Here you go, with compliments from InstallAware R&D:

To install, just use the 7zip archiver (http://www.7-zip.org) to extract files into your InstallAware runtimes folder. A typical path would be:
C:\Program Files\InstallAware\InstallAware 9\runtimes

Michael - good to "see" you again. As usual, you guys are out of the gate on the first day!

I look forward to the VC 2010 Runtime as well. If there is anything I can do to help with the testing just let me know.

This single archive contains all 32 and 64 bit runtimes for:

Visual C++ 8 with Service Pack 1
Visual C++ 9 RTM
Visual C++ 9 with Service Pack 1

with the Security Rollups.

To install this latest batch, copy the files and folders found inside the first-level subfolders inside the archives, as desired, into your InstallAware runtimes folder.

Just download and extract the files into your InstallAware runtimes folder to take advantage of these new runtimes!

PS: I can't think this has anything to do with the new .NET 4 launch since its a separate company, but has got to be coincidence in the timing of our release

Wow, my 4th post today!

The latest entry in the runtimes roll is Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Community Technology Preview November Edition:

This runtime DOES require the .NET 4 runtime posted at the top of this thread. Be sure to install it first (in the correct processor flavor) or you will crash the IDE when you add this one to a project.

To install this runtime, again, just expand the runtime files into the InstallAware runtimes folder.

Well, guess what - R&D did have a fifth drop yesterday, but I missed it

Note: This does require the .NET 4 Framework - so be sure to install it before this one, otherwise you'll crash the InstallAware IDE when you select this runtime.
