I have an install that is password protected. It also has some runtime requirements that can cause a reboot during the the install. After rebooting, the install requests the password again -> is this something that I can change?
They've already entered the password in once - is there a way to remember it in this case?

Unfortunately, you cannot change this behaviour…
...unless you have a wrapper installer that does the RTM's installation, and then once completed this step, it calls an embedded setup (password protected) that exclusively does the product installation. But I don't know if this can be for you a feasible option.
