InstallAware X8 launching on Friday this week comes hot on the heels of InstallAware’s recent MSIX packaging support announcement unveiled at Microsoft Build 2018.

InstallAware X8 is the first and only installer to ship with Acrylic Material support, helping developers build setups which conform to Microsoft’s Fluent Design System. A related new feature is Instant Extraction – where a setup launches instantly, even if its payload is in the multi-gigabyte range – improving the end-user experience and allowing for precise developer control over the extraction process.
