I have built a new updater with IA 16. Because now all should be unicode ready I set my update.ini

http://download.pcon-planner.com/updates_pro64.ini

to utf-8 and integrated unicode strings.

But the updater can not display the strings correctly:

I can reproduce it with a complex expression, see attached picture.

there are no UNICODE strings in line 17 so I don't understand why this is happening. Anyway this error is solved, but I still have other issues that block my work, see my other threads.

always if I use the replace function my IA 16.3 is crashing. Windows is informing me: "IA doesn't work anymore..."

Yes I can also "run" the dialog. But have you tried to edit the items of the combo box!?
You will get the error...what to do now.

Again I had to re-localize to solv this problem.

I think the problem is that I had insert "unicode" characters in the item list that are now converted and not readable.

We also know this problem since month. With setups built with various IA versions. BUT: not all computers are affected and the shortcut is removed afterwards in contrary to the error message. Maybe it has to do with some Windows updates to be installed or not, I remember I read about this in the msd...

How can I Enable a button only if the text of two controls is filled. For instance I have a dialog with a customer number and a postal code and the NEXT button should only be enabled if the two properties are filled or maybe not "0".
