Setup.exe didn't start
Hello again! I have a setup that won't start on a XP computer. Not even the uncompressing is done. I already used Admin-Account and also cleaned %TEMP% folder but it seems that nothing is happening. I created a Procmon Logfile to see what the setup is doing, but I am not really smarter afterwards. M...

I will try to get a verbose msi-log, maybe this helps...

Yes I know that it helps, but shouldn't the .msi install the same way like the .exe?

MSI files does not install shortcuts for AllUsers, EXE does
Hi, my installations installs some shortcuts to AllUsers (c:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\). If I wrap this installation into a .msi file (InstallAware Group Policy Wizard) then the shortcuts are installed only per user. The shortcuts are not installed to c:\ProgramData\Microsof...

Okay but what can I do? Will IA assist me or do I have to contact the plugin developer? Who is it?

Re: List index out of bounds (2) during Apply Install
Ah you mean it is the same issue like here: http://www.installaware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9767 I don't think so because it is an other error message and also it happens during apply install where no "write to log file" command is done. Also it is working on this computer with a...

Re: Unable to load plug-in library (Write to Logfile Plugin)
As I said in the Subject the problem is the write to logfile Plugin. Also no Log entries are made when the error occurs.

Re: setup crash during initialization dialog
This is happening on only one computer, the IA version is 17. We will try to delete the temp folder for the user running the setup if we get contact to the system again..

Problems with register libraries through IA
Hello, I have a project where at the end a few libraries are registered. This worked well for years. But since the last version of IA I always got a setup crash during the registration. I built a batch file that registers the libraries now and call it instead of "register library" this is ...
